Scot Bernhard, founder of Wallaby Networks

Scot Bernhard founded Wallaby Networks and built the AI agents that answer our phone and watch customer networks from The Igloo in Tenino.

Scot Bernhard founded Wallaby Networks to give businesses in Southwest Washington one local team for their phones, network, network and infrastructure security, cameras and AI. He runs The Igloo, our operations center in Tenino, which has solar power and two internet lines and watches customer networks around the clock.

He also owns VoIP PBX Express, our voice arm, which installs Cisco phone systems with CCNP-certified engineers and more than twenty years in Cisco voice. With no coding background, he built our AI agents himself in Claude Code. Arthur now answers our phone at (360) 515-2500, and Andrew Igloo listens to customer networks and pages a person when something looks wrong. Scot founded Arthur Igloo, our AI arm, to build agents like these for other businesses and teach their staff to use desktop AI.

Scot talks about AI plainly. β€œIt's a computer program that speaks very, very good English, and it wants to please us,” he tells nervous customers. β€œA lot of times it's frustratingly stupid.” So each agent gets one narrow job, and nothing reaches a customer until a person has had the chance to stop it.

Wallaby is local on purpose. β€œYou have to be able to go into a customer's network and sit there with them,” he says. He thinks AI help for a small business should come from the local IT team that already runs its network and firewall.
